MISSION HILLS - Latest News

The Kansas legislature passed the Kansas Clean Indoor Air Act making all public places and workplaces statewide smoke free, including restrictions in bars and restaurants.  The law becomes effective on July 1, 2010, and provides exemptions for private clubs in existence before Jan. 1, 2009, tobacco retail shops, 20% of hotel rooms and casino floors throughout the state.

Public places and workplaces throughout Mission Hills will comply with all statewide smoking restrictions on July 1, 2010.  The three country clubs located within Mission Hills will be considered private clubs under the new law.
