A group of Smithville youth approached the city council about the possibility of a smoke free ordinance for Smithville.  The Board of Aldermen discussed the issue in December 2007, but tabled the issue until further notice.

Take Action
If you live in Smithville OR know someone who lives in Smithville who is in favor of a total smoke free ordinance, please have them write or call the Board of Aldermen as soon as possible. If you send an e-mail ask the recipient to forward the email to their contacts in Smithville. Smithville residents, please make your feelings known.
